These terms govern your use of ProspectMap (prospectmap.co.uk), operated by Prospectmap Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17417841, registered office 69 Beaumaris Drive, Gedling, Nottingham, England, NG4 2RA ("ProspectMap", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
ProspectMap is a UK company acquisition intelligence platform. It screens UK registered companies against your chosen filters and scores them using signals drawn from Companies House, HM Land Registry, and The Gazette, combined with AI-generated analysis. Output is provided as a scored extract for your own review and decision-making.
Access is provided either pay-as-you-go (credits purchased upfront, where one credit screens one company) or via a recurring subscription plan, as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Prices are shown in GBP. We are not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.
When you place an order or start a subscription, you'll see an order summary before you pay, and receive an email confirmation/receipt from Stripe once payment succeeds — that confirmation is when the contract between us is formed. We may correct obvious pricing errors before fulfilling an order.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. We'll give reasonable notice by email before any price change takes effect on a renewal.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account portal (self-service via Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current, already-paid billing period unless required by law.
Pay-as-you-go credits are consumed when you use them to screen a company. Once a credit has been used to generate a report, that portion of the service has been performed and is non-refundable. Unused credits may be refundable at our discretion within a reasonable period of purchase — contact us to discuss.
If you're buying as a consumer (i.e. not for the purposes of a trade, business, craft or profession), UK law gives you a 14-day right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because ProspectMap credits and reports are digital content/services that we begin providing immediately at your request, by placing an order you agree that performance starts straight away and you acknowledge you may lose this cancellation right once we do, to the extent already performed.

ProspectMap's scoring and reports are assembled from public filings and registers, combined with AI-generated analysis. This output is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose, and does not constitute financial, legal, investment, or professional advice. You're responsible for carrying out your own due diligence before acting on any report, including before making an approach to, or entering into a transaction with, any company.

The ProspectMap platform, software, design, and scoring methodology are owned by Prospectmap Ltd or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that IP to you. Underlying public register data remains subject to the rights of its original source as set out in section 6.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
You may stop using the service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where we reasonably need to for legal or security reasons.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do, and flag material changes on the site.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
